I’m going to use my professional forecasting skills here
Tonight- It will be dark, with spotty light developing 6-7 am
Tomorrow- It will be light with darkness developing around 6pm
Tomorrow nights – There is a good chance of darkness again (:
On to the real forecast (:
Tonight we have a few light showers coming through with a weak cold front. Tomorrow will turn out to be a nice day besides a morning clouds with high temps around 65 or so. Another weak cold front will come through tomorrow night with a few weak showers not a big deal.
Tuesday will feature increasing clouds as a storm system moves north from the Gulf of Mexico and phases with a cold front which will lead to heavy rains and winds training up the east coast by Wednesday morning.
The models this morning went from tracking to low over us and giving us some breaks in the rainfall, to now inundating us with 2-3 or even 3-5 inches of windswept rainfall Wednesday into Thursday.
The NAM models shows this :
It shows a very strong low tracking into PA with us getting extremely heavy rain with totals 3-4 inches, this is a bit extreme but some other models agree with this
A little less aggressive and this is what I agree with. The low tracks into SE NJ then turns NW through northern NJ with totals of 2-3 inches. Several other models agree with this.
Either way you put it its going to rain and going to rain hard. This storm is tropical in origin which means lots of tropical moisture and a lot of rain. This will be more powerful than the storm that just came through so im expecting a lot of wind too during and after the storm. Flooding is a possibility
After this storm is gets chilly with below normal temps
Then HALLOWEEN SNOWSTORM!!!
Thats right 4-6 inches of snow for us the day before Halloween 2 feet for central PA lol
Chances of this are very slim but this model showed it for 3 days straight now, this is for entertainment purposes although I guess its something to watch , we have seen October snow before and it certainly wouldn’t surprise me with all the records breaking the last 2 years (:
