We have some scattered showers for tonight with lows around 45. Tomorrow looks nice with sunny skies and highs in the lower 60s lows in the mid 40s. Wednesday another front come thorough with showers , then stalls just south of us. A strong disturbance will ride this front and dump around 1 inch or so of rain.
Things get interesting this weekend. Growing consensus for a coastal storm on Saturday. Latest model gives a rain turning to snow solution for NE NJ and practically an all snow event for the Poconos. It is showing .30-.50 of snow over a lot of the area which would mean 3-5 inches. Northern NJ gets about 6 hours of a rain snow mix turning to all snow on this run. As a mater of fact , snow gets all the way to the coast on this run
I am not saying this is gonna happen but its interesting that it is showing up again and there’s plenty of cold air coming out of Canada
I will post images later on but I am becoming confident that north Jersey will at least see the first flakes of the season and the Poconos get thier first snowstorm of the season.
More on this later !!
