I don’t really have much to talk about today so this blog will be rather short, only thing to talk about is frost and freezes the next few nights, other than that this horribly boring and dry weather pattern continues.
Another polar air mass settled into the area will lead to cold conditions tonight and again tomorrow night
Today winds will decrease as high pressure drops in from the north and highs will be stuck in the 40s and 50s for highs with mid 40s N & W to mid 50s along the coast
Tonight clear skies will continue with light winds will allow for good radiation cooling and low dipping into the 20s and 30s with freezing to sub freezing temperatures expected from the Poconos to Somerset County than again possible along the SE NJ coast away from the cities and I95 corridor. 20s over NE PA to low 30s in other freezing areas then mid 30s along I95 and in the cities. In areas that don’t get to freezing , frost is possible as we will have clear skies and light winds, basically a cold night for everyone.
Friday will start off cold but temperatures will rise pretty quickly into the upper 40s interior to mid to upper 50s along the coast, before colder temperatures take hold Friday night with more widespread freezes possible with low 30s even in the cities and along the coast and low to mid 20s N&W in NE PA and NW NJ
Saturday as high pressure builds and warmer air aloft comes in, temperatures will rise rapidly with highs in the 50s and low 60s for everyone, low 50s in NE PA to upper 50s and low 60s along the coast, continued sunny and dry lows in the upper 20s to low 30s NW to upper 30s and low 40s along the coast
Easter will be similar to Saturday , a few degrees warmer some areas may hit the mid 60s in SE PA , South NJ and maybe into NYC otherwise mid 50s NW to low 60s SE and continued sunshine
It will be a very enjoyable Easter weekend!!!
