Well the 4 th of July holiday weekend is upon us, and a long weekend at that!!
For today we will have dry heat, temperatures will sky-rocket into the upper 80s to mid 90s but high pressure to the NW will keep humidity at bay, that’s going to change tonight
Tonight that warm front will lift northeast as the heat ridge that’s been over the central US takes hold again, temperatures wont rise much more but the change will be in the humidity, lows last night dipped to comfortable levels in the 50s to mid 60s, that will not be the case tonight and lows will only fall int low to mid 70s with increaing humidity
For tomorrow, the 4th of July eyes turn to that disturbance over the Great Lakes, that will dive SE and impact the area with scattered showers and thunderstorms starting tomorrow morning, but these MCS (meoscale convece systems) ‘tened to just do what they want so im keeping a close eye
Going into tomorrow morning
Tomorrow late morning and early afternoon
Tomorrow afternoon a “cold front” will come through with more potential scattered storms, some could be severe with the biggest threat being heavy rainfall and strong winds
Thursday through Sunday will be hot hazy and humid with highs everyday ranging in the low to mid 90s, Saturday could feature upper 90s in urban areas unde partly cloudy skies each day, with of course that chance for an isolated afternoon storm, so overall a nice BUT VERY HOT 4th of July weekend coming up as the heat wave continues!!
