Looking at the current radar storms are beginning to fire in Western PA through the Great Lakes and will dive south and east as a very strong cold front dives SE through the area
Instability is now rising and more than conductive for severe weather, we just wait for the Pre frontal trough and cold front to come east now.
CAPE Values now range from 2000-3500, keep in mind all you need is 1500 for severe weather
Lifting Index is -6 to -7 which is conductive for severe thunderstorms

The bullseye is expected to be from CT through NYC and Northern NJ as the best dynamics will be in this area and the front will cross during peak heating , main threats from these storms will be very heavy rainfall and flash flooding, strong winds which could easily exceed 60,hail and with decent wind shear, yes there is potential for ISOLATED TORNADOES. Timing for this event will be from 1 PM to 10 PM . I will be tracking this and keep you posted
