A cold front currently over western PA with widespread showers and storms will move east but it will slow down overnight as it runs into the western Atlantic ridge. These storms should fall apart overnight tonight too.
Showers and storms will refire tomorrow late morning through the early afternoon hours over Eastern PA and West NJ, which will slowly march east and last through tomorrow evening.
I do not expect a widespread severe weather out break but a slow-moving line of scattered to widespread showers and storms, (some may be strong) will move through the area, with the potential for very heavy rain and gusty winds. I don’t think everyone will get hit but areas that do get hit will have the potential for flash flooding. It will get noticeably more humid with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s
Here is tomorrow afternoon and we can see the showers and storms over the area which could make for an interesting afternoon for some so keep an eye to the sky and local forecasts. I suspect we will be talking about storms A LOT this August.
