We are going to have yet another active week weather wise throughout the forecast area, but mild temperatures will accompany it.
Today we have a chilly air mass remaining in place, and an upper level disturbance moving through with scattered by heavy showers , some of which have some small hail due to cold air aloft, these showers will dissipate after sun set as instability begins to fall off , skies will clear and we will have a pretty chilly night with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s NE PA to upper 40s to around 50 along the coast
Tomorrow we will have a mix of sun and clouds, highs in the low to mid 60s over NE PA to upper 60s to low 70s along the coast, basically around average for this time of year, with lows in the mid 40s NE PA to low to mid 50s along the coast.
That storm system you see in the SE US on the radar above will move NE Tuesday, we will be on the east side of the low so we will have southerly winds transporting a warmer and more humid air mass , with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s Tuesday with clouds and scattered showers, and the same will be said for Wednesday, cloudy with scattered showers, some of which could be very heavy with highs in the upper 60s NE PA to mid to upper 70s along the coast, some areas around Philly and south NJ could see an isolated 80 degree reading, especially if sun comes out. Lows in the period will only fall to the mid 50s NE PA to mid 60s along the coast
Thursday once the storm system moves out, we will see decreasing humidity but still mild temperatures with highs in the mid to upper 60s NE PA to mid to upper 70s along the coast, the same can be said for Friday but slightly more humidity as a potent cold front begins to come east. Lows through the period will be in the upper 40s over NE PA the mid to upper 50s along the coast.
This cold front will lead to a BIG change by the time we get to the weekend.
