Most of the area woke up to very cold temps and some nice mid April snow and ice on the ground, while highs today were mostly stuck in the 40s. The cold temperatures will continue with freeze watches and warnings in effect.
Lows tonight will mostly be in the mid 20s to low 30s with clear skies. Chilly temperatures will continue through Saturday with highs in the mid 40s to low 50s and lows in the 30s for most before beginning to moderate more towards normal by Easter Sunday with highs in the mid 50s to around 60 and lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s
It will be mostly dry through the weekend with just a slight chance of shower and some cloudy skies Saturday, the next threat for appreciable rain comes with a cold front early next week with temperatures generally in the upper 50s to mid 60s and lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s
