We have begun to settle into what will serve to be a long period of very wet and stormy weather
It began yesterday with a approaching warm front, today the warm front is ever so slowly coming through the area, right now confined to extreme west and southwest parts of the area, this will lead to overcast foggy drizzly and showery conditions through tomorrow morning
Tomorrow as the front passes north, some clearing and rapidly rising temperatures into the 70s and in some cases low 80s, a cold front will slowly approach from the west with scattered to widespread showers and Thunderstorms Saturday late afternoon through early Sunday morning
Sunday and Monday will be the only dry and tranquil days of the next 10 days with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the mid 70s to low 80s with some humidity.
By Monday night and especially Tuesday a warm front will approach with the next storm system with increasing clouds, showers and thunderstorms, the front is expected to linger around the area with waves of showers, thunderstorms and drizzle through Thursday or Friday
By Friday a potent cold front coming from the west merging with tropical moisture and maybe even tropical disturbance looks to lead to what could be a prolonged heavy rainstorm ,as the tropical disturbances forms into cold cored low pressure and is slowly pulled north up the coast and maybe even northwest into land from a negative tilted trough. This low due to a strong negative NAO could linger around the area for quite some time and next weekend could be very wet
