We have entered a very unsettled and humid weather pattern over the last 2 days , we will have slow moving and stalled out frontal boundaries around the area as a strong NAO block brings the pattern to a stand still
The week won’t be a washout but just like yesterday there will be slow moving waves of showers and storms around just about every day as we see disturbances waver around the area, placement of these disturbances will determine who gets rain and who stays dry each day
A bit of a back door front will suppress the activity for Wednesday and into Thursday , there will still be the chance for isolated showers and storms but will only be isolated and the best chances will occur the farther south and west one goes
By late Thursday and especially Friday the stronger low pressure currently over the plains will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms which could last into Saturday as well , the threat for flash flooding will be high as storms will be slow moving and capable of producing heavy downpours
We can see the period from Thursday night through Saturday has the capability to be very wet and stormy
Temperatures will be mostly seasonable with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s and lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s
High pressure will take hold from late Saturday through early week with lower humidity , dry conditions and temperatures remaining near normal.
