After another great weekend of weather a unsettled pattern will take hold again this week, this time accompanied by heat and humidity
The rest of today will be nice and seasonable with only slowly increasing humidity and temps in the upper 70s to mid 80s w
A warm front will approach in the early morning hours with isolated showers and thunderstorms. Some could contain heavy downpours but the activity looks mostly isolated and confined to south and west portions of the forecast area
This warm front will bring hot a very humid weather for Tuesday through at least Thursday with mostly mid 80s to low 90s expected , some could hit mid 90s with full sunshine, humidity will make it feel like the upper 90s to low 100s, low temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s are expected
Disturbances will approach Tuesday night through the day Wednesday with scattered thunderstorms possible periodically through the period with the best chances coming both early Weds morning and later Wednesday afternoon, some storms could be strong with winds over 40 mph and very heavy rainfall
Disturbances will continue to approach from WNW to ESE through Saturday with storm chances lingering just about every day , but depending on positioning of a backdoor cold front the bulk of the activity may be confined to southern and western portions of the forecast area
Temperatures will drop back towards seasonable levels for Friday through the weekend but humidity will likely stick around , unless the backdoor cold front really backs far to the southwest the only areas that are more likely to stay dry and cooler late week with lower humidity and this weekend will be NE NJ , NYC LI and CT , to the southwest of these areas the humidity and unsettled weather may last through the weekend.
