This weekend through the upcoming week there will be no blogs posted ,so today’s post will cover what can be expected over the next week or so.
For Saturday warmer and more humid conditions will come in as a warm front slowly approaches , generally a comfortable day is still expected but you will notice more humidity in the air with highs in the low to mid 80 s
The warm front will set the stage for stormy unsettled weather from Saturday night through Monday night, the threat for isolated to scattered storms will begin tomorrow night and by Sunday afternoon and especially I evening some could be quite strong with highs remaining in the low to mid 80s but very high humidity , lows will only fall to the upper 60s to mid 70s
Monday as a low pressure system passes just north widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected area wide, some strong to severe storms are expected which could bring strong winds in excess of 50 mph and small hail, very heavy rain and slow moving/training storms will lead to localized flash flooding , overall Monday does not look like a pretty day especially for the northern half of the region but everyone will be at risk with highs again the low to mid 80s and high humidity
Monday night a cold front will come through, sweep the humidity away and set the stage for pleasant but unseasonably cool weather for the time of yearTuesday through Friday with highs in the mid 70s to low 80 s and lows mostly in the 50s area wide , 40s over the northwest interior and upper 50s to low 60s for urban/coastal areas
Friday night into Saturday a Bermuda high is expected to fight back and bring the return of humid and unsettled weather with at least isolated to scattered storms a threat through the weekend with highs moderating to the 80s for most of the area and lows moderating into the 60s
