The week is starting off on a seasonable for October standards , a warming trend will commend for Tuesday and Wednesday before a winter preview comes in starting around Halloween.
Today’s highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s will give way to lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s
A rapid change to southwest winds will transport a much warmer air mass in tomorrow with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s , and tomorrow nights temps will struggle to fall below the 50 degree mark
Wednesday will feature a chance of scattered to widespread showers and highs in the 60s to around 70 and lows will fall into the 40s for much of the area
By Thursday highs will return to seasonal levels in the mid 50s to around 60 and lows in the mid 30s to low 40s
The Halloween forecast looks pretty good during the day with mostly dry conditions, however some breezy and rather chilly conditions will be in place with highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s and we have watch for a potential storm that may bring rain or mixed precipitation by Halloween night into Saturday with lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s, more details on the storm later this week
Storm or no storm Saturday and Sunday will feel like early winter days with highs Saturday only in the upper 30s to mid 40s , Sunday in the 40s for most of the area and lows in the mid 20s to low 30s, windy conditions will make it feel cooler
