Much of the area was in the 70s yesterday but a back door cold front that came through overnight transported a cooler marine air mass from the northeast, this marine air will continue to to be transported in by a northeast wind through early Saturday before a pattern shift brings in a big and prolonged warm up to above average temperatures
For today variable clouds will be in place with highs mostly in the lower to mid 60s, theres an outside shot at a shower but mostly south and west of the area, lows tonight will be in the lower to mid 40s, Friday will be the coolest and cloudiest day with highs in the mid 50s to around 60 with a slightly better chance of showers but still very isolated in nature
Saturday will start off cloudy with a slight chance of a shower or sprinkle then clear up as the front retreats northeastward and a big warming tend will start, Saturdays highs will be in the 60s for most with some low 70s possible. By Sunday high pressure will begin to anchor off shore with a deep southwesterly flow leading to widespread highs in the 70s, low 70s interior, mid to upper 70s along I95 then a bit cooler along the coast in the low 70s
Monday and Tuesday will be very warm with added humidity with a warm front to the north and cold front to the west, highs will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s and lows in the mid 50s to around 60, there will be isolated showers or storms but mostly north of the area until later Tuesday, by late Tuesday as the front get closer scattered showers and thunderstorms will become more likely, however the cold front may not truly make its way through the area so very mild conditions will remain in place Wednesday through Friday, not quite as warm but widespread 70s are still expected
