As we are now in the beginning stages of meteorological summer the weather will certainly show it over the next 10 days with plenty of heat, humidity and chances for thunderstorms
Today a weak cold front will stall just north of the region and dissipate , with a southwest flow of heat and humidity combined with this weak disturbance isolated to scattered storms are possible this afternoon, some storms could be severe with very strong winds heavy downpours etc with highs in the mid 80s to lower 90s, the storm threat will not be widespread but any location hit could experience strong storms. Tonight any storms will dissipate with lows falling into the 60s for most areas
Tomorrow looks to be fairly similar with a weak disturbance sparking off scattered storms in the afternoon , variable clouds and highs in the mid 80s to low 90s lows in the mid 60s to low 70s along with moderate to high humidity
Saturday looks to be hot and humid but the thunderstorm threat should mostly be north and west of the area with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s, there is a chance for an isolated storm , the chances for storms increase as you head towards NE PA and Central PA points west.
Sunday will be a very nice day with low humidity and temps in the upper 70s to mid 80s, lows in the mid 50s to low 60s
Come Monday a warm front will come through with the return of heat and humidity through next week, with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s lows in the mid 60s to low 70s, a front will stall in the vicinity of the area Monday night through Wednesday with waves of showers and thunderstorms, this general pattern looks to lock in place with above normal temps , high humidity and cold fronts approaching but failing to move through with a lot of chances for thunderstorms
